Square both sides.
\[\frac{1}{{x}^{4}}=x\]
Multiply both sides by \({x}^{4}\).
\[1=x{x}^{4}\]
Simplify  \(x{x}^{4}\)  to  \({x}^{5}\).
\[1={x}^{5}\]
Take the \(5\)th root of both sides.
\[\sqrt[5]{1}=x\]
Calculate.
\[1=x\]
Switch sides.
\[x=1\]
